The story is a classic one were the man steps in and save the young lady. It has arguments and make ups and it brought tears to my eyes several times. Loved it. I have read it 3 times
I love reading the Long Tall Texan series so many and having a lot of the characters you read in all of the other books.
Honestly what can you say about any of her books.

I have read about 10 of her books and I tried hard to ignore that all her books are the same and not to write a review but I have just got ask, WHY does Diane Palmer always make the heroine so gullible and forgiving? Why are all her books basically the same?

Not going to write a long review but summary -

Judd Dunn - hero of book, total jerk through entire book

Christabel 'Crissy' Gaines - heroine, strong female but gullible and too forgiving of Judd Dunn

Cash Grier - secondary character, bit of a jerk himself but truly a good guy, in love with Crissy

Tippy Moore - secondary character, she had issues and she was a jerk

SPOILER (but you know the outcome anyway)

Crissy and Cash should have been a couple. They had good chemistry.

Judd and Tippy should have been a couple. They deserved each other.
This was a fantastic book. I enjoyed it very much. I can’t wait to read the next one. Off to find it.
While much of this book is written in the same style as all of Diana Palmer's other books, the heroine has more backbone to her and the hero isn't quite as overbearing. That said, there is something about this particular story and it is one of my very favorites out of all the Palmer books. I have read this many times and will probably read it many more.
I am new to DP, but have read several in the past 2 months. This was one of her longer books, but still went at a quick pace. I enjoyed the joking nature of Christabel as well as the fact that she was not at all shy about her attraction to Judd and her desire to sleep with him. Even though she was inexperienced, she knew what she wanted! Sparks flew between Judd and Crissy and they didn't hold back during their love scenes. Very passionate! This is a book in which you will become very emotionally involved with the characters. It seemed to evoke more emotion to me than some of her other books. Great DP read!
I have rea this story before and one must seriously disregard the fashion flops and the usual banal phrases. I have said it before that I am a fan of this author I just wish she would change up the characters. Instead of a 35-38 year old man being hot for the barely 21 year old girl, let her be 26-28. In this day there are few 21 year old virgins. Get rid of the thick pelt of chest hair on the guy and I could bore you to death with suggestions. Finally I am hoping for some new and different stories, yup like that's gonna happen.
